The state of digital transformation

We are delighted to have Dr. Bel Gacem Raggad as a keynote speaker. Dr. Raggad is Professor at Pace University, New York, US Fulbright scholar and expert in cybersecurity and artificial intelligence.

He will talk about digital transformation (DX) and the need for both digitization and digitalization. He will also discuss the state of big data and business value generation through BI and big data analytics. 

You will see that Fayol and Mintzberg theories of Management need to be revisited in the light of DX and in the light of the new data roles and cyber roles brought by DX. You will also see that Cloud computing is no longer adequate to uphold BI capabilities and other IT competitive advantages. DX will indeed require new computing environments: Lets think Edge computing, Fog Computing, Internet of Things, and more (the Economy of Things). DX has transformed data of any type and in anywhere that is Internet-enabled.
